La Palma – Erasmus+ 2019 Hola! Welcome on my blog.☺ I’m Imola Németh. I’m 21 years old. I’m from Hungary, Budapest. I’m going to finish my studies as a fitness wellness instructor at Meta- Don Bosco Vocational School. In the fall of 2018 I applied for the Erasmus+ professional traineeship on Canary Islands. after few days the director invitated me and other 2 girls(Flóra&Rebeka) and told us: You 3 going to La Palma for internship and other 2 boys. Before flying to “La Isla Bonita” we had to prepare couple of things for our employer, such as an introduction video of ourselves, a basic CV and an Erasmus CV. During our school days we had sessions on the Erasmus, where we got some basic information of the island, lifestyle, architecture etc. As the day of the experience arrieved, we met on front of our school at 03:00 AM, from where one of our teachers took us to Vienna Airport, Austria where our airplane departed to Madrid in the morning at 07:20 AM. From Vienna to Madrid the flight time was more than 3 hours, we barely slept on the plane. It was just unbelievable arriving to 12˙C from the 0˙C in Budapest. At the airport we had to wait 1 hours to connecting flight to La Palma. That 1 hour passed very fast we barely had time to look around at the airport… After 12 hours travelling we finally arrived to La Palma. As the plane was descending we couldn’t stop taking photos of the beautiful vulcanic landscapes. After picking up our luggages and coming out of the terminal, we immediately saw 3 guys holding a paper written Meta-Don Bosco on it with huge letters. We introduce to each other. The 3 guys were also fitness students, who told us that they also applied for the Erasmus experience to Hungary. The first impression of the guys was as we expected, they were really kind and smiling. They took us up to Residencia Escolar San José where we will be living for the next 1 month during our internship. I'm writing soon! ☺♥ Imola |
